CAMEO
appoints Regional Managers and District Coordinators to oversee member and
chapter development in different areas across Canada.
Information
about the qualifications and benefits of being a Regional Manager or District
Coordinator is available by calling the National Office. If you are interested
in becoming a coordinator or getting a group of Disc Jockeys together
in your are to start a chapter, please call our office for more information.
To
start a Chapter or Regional Networking Group
Contact
the National Office to see if there is a Regional Manager or District
Coordinator in your area. If not and you would like to become the Coordinator,
let us know.
Set
up a meeting of interested DJs in your area and contact the National
Office for a sales representative to attend and explain the benefits
of joining CAMEO.
A minimum
of 8 members is required to join to start a chapter. This must
grow to 12 members in the first year of operation and this level must
be maintained to keep your chapter status.
National
representatives will attend your first formal meeting and conduct the
election of officers. A quorum of 75% of members is required at
this meeting.
When
the District executive is established by election, the National Executive
Director will conduct formal training for the executive officers to
explain their duties and how CAMEO operates. He/she will also
provide all resource materials required for the operation of the Chapter.
The
Chapter executive should maintain regular contact with your District
Coordinator or Regional Manager and the National Office to keep informed
about changes to existing programs and benefits or any new programs
and benefits being developed.
A minimum
of 8 Business meetings is required in a calendar year. National Reps
are available, with sufficient notice to attend any or all of your meetings.
