As you may have noticed, there are many areas to research in order to determine what DJ or KJ service is best for you.  As a member of CAMEO, these services have greater opportunity to grow their business in a professional manner by meeting certain guidelines and ethics.  By choosing a member company for your corporate event or wedding reception, you can be assured that these services have been shown how to take those extra steps to learn the skills needed to make your function run smoothly and make it one of the best parties that you and your guests will have ever attended. 

CAMEO members have the opportunity to attend industry related trade shows, carry only licenced music, meet all licence requirements, carry insurance, partake in training seminars, etc.. all the things necessary to be a professional entertainer.  DJs and KJs are much more that just record spinners of years ago.  The must learn how to entertain your crowd by playing just the right music for the occasion, to be able to 'read' the crowd and use music to motivate them.  Some operators will play games or perform some other type of interactive activities depending on the guidelines set by you in the pre-planning of your event.  The DJ and KJ businesses have grown into a high tech world where the service can have $10,000 + in music and equipment (and backup equipment) at a minimum in order to ensure the success of your party. 

When choosing your DJ or KJ service, big prices doesn't always mean you are getting the best service provider, but a low price generally does mean that the service will be substandard and usualy not a member of a professional association or trade organization.
